
The Coaches
The TPI Junior Performance Center is an innovative approach toward golf improvement. Based on the principles of Long-Term Athletic Development (LTAD), the TPI JPC uses physical and mental activities that are appropriate to a child’s biological age.

Milo F. Bryant
Coach Milo is the Director of the TPI JPC. He is a fitness professional with almost 21 years of experience training individuals, groups and teams of all ages. Coach Milo is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and is on the TPI Junior Golf Advisory Board. He lectures throughout the world on junior fitness and junior golf development.
Milo is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Personal Trainer—both granted through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Coach Milo also holds certifications with USA Track&Field and USA Weightlifting.

Abner Nevarez
Coach AB, a PGA Teaching Professional, is the lead golf instructor at the Junior Performance Center. AB has been an instructor for more than 16 years and has an enthusiastic interaction with youth golfers that is infectious. In addition to his TPI education, which encompasses each of the Junior, Golf Pro and Fitness treks, Coach AB is also a C.H.E.K. Golf Bio-Mechanic and Holistic Life Coach.
“My goal is to create a relationship between student and teacher by having an enjoyable and exciting experience. It is important to inspire motivation and momentum in learning the movements and positions required for a golf swing. It is my aim to promote longevity and injury-free golf with appropriate and consistent bio-mechanics, as well as, feel.” – Coach AB

Ivan Orozco
Ivan has been a fitness instructor at the JPC since it opened in 2009. Certified by the Titleist Performance Institute and by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Ivan combines the two to get the most from the young athletes while maintaining an amazing level fun.

Shawn Cox
Shawn, the Director of Golf at The Grand, is a member of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA). Shawn is a Level 3 Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness and Junior Instructor. Using a physical screening process to identify and isolate physical limitations, he evaluates swing technique and prescribes customized conditioning for each student, including current players on the PGA and LPGA tours.

Kristen Muranyi
A Titleist Performance Institute Certified Instructor, Kristen specializes in golf programs and classes tailored towards children and ladies. Before joining The Grand, she worked for Bishops Bay Country Club in Middleton, Wisconsin, and also coached a varsity golf team in Monona, Wisconsin.

Erik Wilson
Erik is the First Assistant Golf Professional at The Grand. Erik has bee a part of The Grand Golf Club team since 2004. He attained the esteemed PGA of America Membership status in April 2009. Before joining The Grand, he worked for Crosswater Golf Club in Sunriver, Oregon, for five years in both golf and fine dining. A graduate of Oregon State University, he holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise sports science.

Wyatt Spencer
Wyatt, an Assistant Golf Professional at The Grand, was previously a golf professional at Barona Creek Golf Club and embarked on a golf career as an attendant at the prestigious U.S. Navy-owned and operated Admiral Baker Golf Course.
